Can it be switched off (or moved to page bottom) with some parameter?

I agree; is there no way to turn this option off, or else opt out of it? I use this program to make archival copies of university webpages for my school's library, and the info stamp unfortunately alters the look of the page, no matter how subtle. I will have to find a new program to convert webpages to .pdfs, which is a shame as I really enjoy the ease of the Firefox add on.

I agree, must be able to turn off. If I wanted to add them, I'd have used PDFTK to add them

I just found out about your service (needed to print some PDF retaining hyperlinks) and let me say, I am impressed!
I ended up here in the forum because I missed exactly the feature of adding the URL and/or date. Call me stupid, but I cannot find it! Is your announcement referring to the service I used from http://www.web2pdfconvert.com? Where are the options to enable or disable this?
Here is how I would do it: keep the simple one-field edit box to enter the URL. It's beautiful. But... add an "Advanced" link, just like sites such as google.com do. From there, allow the user to choose:
- Header and footer fields (also give a choice of date formats, e.g. YYYY-MM-DD vs. other formats) - Page format (at least A4 vs. Letter) - Margin adjustment (I say this because your top/bottom margins were very tight in the page I printed) - Option to print or not to print background
I am not asking for a lot I think. My expectation as a user is to print like from Firefox or IE, but with the extra bonus of working hyperlinks.
You are near perfect. I love you. Now keep up the wonderful work!

Wow, I am very impressed! The only thing I would change is give some meaningful default values to the margins. They are set to 0 now, which appears to mean "no margin". But that's not what a page normally prints like?
Speaking of margins, it may need a "millimeters" (mm) vs. "inches" (in) option as well (if the default is A4, then the unit default is metric). edited by takeos on 3/19/2010

We have added MM label near margins to make it more clearly that they are in millimeters. Zero margins do not add any white spaces at the edges of web page in PDF file. It is useful by default because many users use our converter for offline viewing document on computer. Yes if PDF document for printing it is useful to have margins, but then user must set margins in option dialog.
