I did an aditional test with a html-file of 2,38 MB. That give an error. Is this a limit also with menbership?
Thanks in advance.

Well - IMHO it would be great if I can use PDF by e-mail like this:
I add e.g. 20 links in just one e-mail and receive a zip-file with 20 converted pdf-files. This would be much more comfortable than sending 20 seperate e-mails.
And this feature would be a nice advantage for members, wouldn't it?

1. All conversions are done on our server, there is no server usage on hoster side except that our converter download web page from server while converting it.
2. You will get automatic notification when your membership will go to the end. Also we have lifetime membership.

Two questions.
- Adding Web2pdf to benefit our readers, would give this an extra load to the server I'm using?
- Membership: "billed every year". I do not like this. Is there not an option to send a reminder?
Thank you in advance.

Congrats on your nice service. It is really great.
There is extension for K-Meleon on K-Meleon Extensions Central. It would be much appreciated if you could include this info here > http://www.web2pdfconvert.com/pdf-browser.aspx
Thanks in advance. Regards

Hi, many compliments for your product, it is very impressive in terms of accuracy and speed.
I was wondering if you offer APIs or an SDK for sale in order to include your software into advanced web applications.
Thanks a lot, Francesco

Web2PDF is a crippled Firfox add-on

Please understand that for us creation of web to PDF converter was expensive investment both in terms of time and money - all conversions are performed in our server, there is a huge number of conversions and keeping the server is very expensive. I think that most of our users do not see a great problem in documents with watermarks and they can fully use it for free. And the ones who like our service suporrted us by buying the membership.

Web2PDF is a crippled Firfox add-on

Today I installed the Web2PDF Firefox add-on and was pleasantly surprised to see what a passable job it did of converting a web page to PDF. However, at the end of the PDF I saw this big ugly company logo embossed in the lower right hand corner. I didn't like that. No where was I told that each web conversion would bear a company watermark. I went to the company website, and sure enough there's a notice that if you want to rid your future conversions of watermarks, you MUST pay a yearly fee (euphemistically called a "Membership"). I was very, very disappointed. In all my years of using Firefox I've never had to forcibly pay any money to access all features of an Add-on. I've donated a few bucks here and there, but that was because the author asked for a small donation to further improve his contribution to Firefox. So I wrote up a "review" of Web2PDF warning future users that this add-on is crippled, and I posted it to the Mozilla Add-ons page:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/14979/
Here is the text of what I posted:
"This a commercial product that has been crippled in order to extract money from the user, if the user wishes to access to all features. Go to their website, click on the Membership tab, and read how you can enable all features, if you fork over the required membership fee. You aren't being asked for a donation; you MUST pay up or you will just have to work with a feature-limited add-on. Plus, I resent having the huge Web2PDF Company logo embossed on each PDF conversion. And the ONLY way I can get rid of that embedded watermark is to become a paying member. This is NOT what a Firefox add-on should be about. The majority of add-ons for Firefox are non-crippled, full-featured apps, whose respective authors ASK for a donation, and don't try to extort money from their users. This add-on is very useful. I give it a high rating. But overall I'll have to rate it poor because it has misrepresented itself; it goes against the whole Firefox add-on philosophy."
I like your product, I just don't like being forced to pay for additional (and necessary) features.
Thanks for your attention.

Conversions not working
kenlyle Posts: 1

I have tried conversions from the web page, from the Firefox bookmarklet, in both IE 8 and FF 3.5x, really simple pages like google.com, and the little wheel just spins for minutes, and I never get a file back. Is there a server issue? If there's a queue, can the conversion page maybe show what the queue is, so that we know?
Thanks, K

Is that at all possible at this time? If not, will it be possible in the near future?

Hello, I am sorry if I didn't see this question in old posts. End of day and exhausted .
Possible to convert a web page to pdf with limitless page size? No page breaks. I couldn't see anything that looks like that option in list of page sizes.

Nitro crash when opening web2pdf files

Thx for the quick response Tomas. I appreciate it. Adobe (windows version 9.3) says commenting is 'not allowed' on the document. If I open it on a Mac I am able to comment on the file by using Preview. I checked options again but the problem persists. Btw Nitro reader has a nice interface and is also free. Quite a nice program as long as it doesn't crash... Arthur edited by Arthur on 7/1/2010

Use free Adobe Acrobat reader and you will not have any problems. Why to use 3rd party software when Adobe offer the same for free?

Hi,
Nitro PDF reader reports an error and crashes every time I try to open a pdf I made with the web2pdf converter. I tried changing active x and javascript settings but the problem persists. Does the problem lie with the conversion process or with the Nitro software? Any ideas?
Best,
Arthur

Sorry but there is no workaround for this situation, the converter can't access password protected areas.

Cannot convert Amazon.com invoices

For whatever reason, what's being converted is the user id and password page. I can open and see my invoice properly. I'm doing everything correct. I copy and paste the exact invoice link, but the result is always the login page.
I think this has to do with Amazon's strict security. For example, even after I'm logged in. If I want to see my recent orders or anything, they ask me to log in again, and they take me to a redundant log in page and this is the page that's being converted instead of my actual invoice.
Any clues or workarounds? Thank you in advance.
